I also used facebook and orkut to inform my friends and family to sign up for the PIL, requesting just 5 minutes of their time. It is sad to see that our the generation is just worried about their facebook profiles and making sure that everyone on their list is constantly updated on what is going on in their lives. This apathy and our Indian attitude of "chalta hai chalne do" is a disease which has become an epidemic which is carried forward generation after generation in our society. I know Vishal was disgusted with the voter turnout in mumbai in the Lok sabha elections. In the current state elections, it has not improved much. The greatest statistic is that the voter turnout in mumbai in terms of percentage is less than the turnout in J&K !!!!! I rest my case !
